Fast, Easy, & Affordable Payroll Services
Solving Your Payroll Problems
Our payroll service is formulated toward a starting business of about one to ten employees. Many businesses require this service if they plan to maintain an active labor force. As a business owner it’s important to note that you can only pay yourself a salary through an S or C Corporation. As a sole proprietor you may have employees that you need to pay, but you will not be able to pay yourself a wage. This same rule applies to partner owners in a federally formed partnership.
A limited liability company that is an S Corporation has a federal requirement for the owner to pay themself a wage under the “reasonable wage” principle. This can be beneficial to the owner in several ways in which we have summarized the benefits here in our article: The S-Corp Example.
We operate on a flat fee service, in which you pay us only when returns are being filed or due. There is a fixed price for each return. This keeps your cost low, and helps you prepare for when the service is needed.
Below is what your typical payroll service will look like:
Forms W2/W3: The W3 is the annual summary you will provide the federal government of the total payroll your company paid for the year. The W2 is the form you will file on each employee’s behalf, providing both the federal government and the employee with a copy at the time of filing.
Form 940: This is the Federal Unemployment tax filing. The federal government collects an unemployment tax on a minimum basis often resulting in very minimal tax being owed.
This may seem complex, however as experts in this field our process and delivery save you both time and money. We pride ourselves on delivering a payroll experience that benefits the business owner allowing flexibility as a key feature. If changes need to be made on an owner’s payroll; flexibility will help the business manage cash flow and valuable resources.
